Louisiana Medical Cannabis Program:
1. Eligibility: You must have a qualifying condition as State regulations allow. For a complete list of qualifying conditions, please see https://louisianastatecannabis.org/medical-conditions.
2. State Certified Medical Provider Recommendation: Schedule an appointment for an evaluation. If you qualify, a written recommendation will be submitted.
3. State Registration Requirements: Louisiana requires a bona fide clinician-patient relation, medical records (or authorization to attain your medical records), and a State issued identification for proof of residency. If qualified, a written recommendation to a State Certified Medical Cannabis Pharmacy will be submitted. Office visit fees are due during your visit. Louisiana does not require a patient to register with a state-run program or obtain a special card.
4. Dispensing Locations: You can purchase medical cannabis from any Louisiana Licensed pharmacy.
5. Forms of Medical Cannabis: Louisiana permits various forms of Medical Cannabis with a few examples being vapes, oils, tinctures, edibles, topicals, or smokable cannabis.
6. Purchase Limits: Limits are set by Louisiana regulations and/or your Medical Provider.
7. Follow-Up: Periodic follow-up visits are required to make necessary adjustments or to renew your recommendation.
Mississippi Medical Cannabis Program:

2. Endorsement by a State Certified Medical Provider: Schedule an appointment for an evaluation. If you qualify, an electronic State-required application will be initiated.
3. State Registration Requirements: A State required electronic application will be submitted during your visit. A few items needed during your visit include State issued identification for proof of residency, medical records (or authorization to attain your medical records), ability to access an e-mail account (cell phone, tablet, or computer), ability to electronically pay the State required registration fee, and payment for your office visit.
4. Dispensing Locations: You can purchase medical cannabis from any Mississippi Licensed Medical Cannabis dispensary.
5. Forms of Medical Cannabis: Mississippi permits various forms of Medical Cannabis with a few examples being vapes, oils, tinctures, edibles, topicals, or smokable cannabis.
6. Purchase Limits: Limits are set by Mississippi regulations and/or your Medical Provider.
